BASIC INTRODUCTION TO MPI'S TRACKING SYSTEM
The tracking unit is designed to acquire records and sends them to the server to allow the user to constantly monitor the vehicle/object. The records include the GPS and sensors information, the GPS data acquired is time-based, distance based, speed based, and angle based. The unit uses GPRS and SMS channels to communicate the data it has acquire, this functionality allows the tracking unit to remotely send the data to the server over a wide distance range.
